Job shadowing

The job shadowing in Romania, January 13-26 2022, started in Cluj-Napoca with the first four days dedicated to the presentation of the hosting organization and a general overview of its activities and projects.

On the agenda of the first day:

  • Welcome and introduction;
  • General overview of the job shadowing activities in Romania;
  • The agenda of the 14 days activities;
  • A non-formal presentation of the city, its historical and social background and the circumstances that conducted to the creation of Asociatia Babilon Travel (ABT).

On the agenda of the second day:

  • Exchange of Best Practices among partners;
  • Presentation of the intern to the local community, youth groups and NGOs;
  • Introduction of the sending organization to local community, associations, NGOs, sending partner’s staff and volunteers;
  • Networking with local and international volunteers hosted in a partner organization – The Special High School for Visually Impaired Cluj-Napoca. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this was the only face-to-face activity that we managed to implement during the job shadowing. All other meetings were on-line.

    • Teachers, educators and students involved in common projects (The Inclusionist, Braille Challenge)

On the agenda of days 3-7:

  • Exchange of Best Practices among partners;
  • Work in the management of the hosting organization’s Social Media channels;
  • Work in the editing of digital communicational resources (photos, videos, mailing lists).
  • On-line meetings with partners of ABT, involved in various common Erasmus+ projects. During these meetings, ABT and BVBP presented the GIM project and its outputs and the local partners presented themselves and projects involving ABT and young people from the community:

  • Exchange of Best Practices among partners;
  • Seminars on Volunteering targeted at the staff of the hosting organization;
  • Monitoring and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives of youngsters. Presenting local entrepreneur supporting employability of impaired youngsters.
  • On-line meetings with partner schools from Cluj-Napoca involved in various common Erasmus+ projects of ABT. During these meetings, ABT and BVBP presented the GIM project and its outputs and the local partners presented themselves and projects involving ABT and young people from the community:
